The Daytona International Speedway will host its annual race, the DAYTONA 500, on February 23rd. The race track is in Daytona Beach, Florida, United States and is considered the most prestigious race in NASCAR.
Round Trip New York City ⇄ Daytona, Florida (February 21st-February 24th) starting from just $644 (Flight details: https://www.travelpapa.com/y/18)
The track was built in 1958 to permit higher speeds and gave fans a better view of the cars and today it is the third largest single lit outdoor sports facility. Now, if the name had already given it away, the Daytona 500 is a 500-mile-long motor race and is the most important race on the NASCAR calendar.
It is also the series’ first race of the year and is referred to as “The Great American Race” or the “Super Bowl of Stock Car Racing.” This will be the 56th running of the DAYTONA 500 on FOX. Eric Shanks, the FOX Sports President even said, “This year is bigger and better than ever, and we can’t wait to hear the roar of the engines as speed weeks kicks off the best two weeks in racing.”
