Discover Russian Traditions at MASLENITSA FESTIVAL
Writers and poets alike have always found themselves drawn towards the city of Bath, England (and for good reason). The Bath Literature Festival has been a March staple since the 1990’s and attracts some of the most successful, modern authors in the world (the name J.K. Rowling ring any bells?).

This festival is held annually and is quite an important event on the literary agenda. Journalists, novelists and biographists unite for this special occasion to partake in a series of literary debates and live readings, followed by an educational tour of the city.
In the years since the festivals creation, it has played host to Nobel and Booker Prize winners, as well as leading politicians and even a handful of humorists. The festival is very much a part of the city and its people, making it a true British experience.
Once you are all wrapped up in the intellectual atmosphere of the city, you might find yourself being drawn to some of the cities top museums. The Royal Crescent is the museum located inside of the first house built in Bath.
Or, if you are more interested in learning about history by seeing it (or, perhaps, walking by it), then the Bath Skyline Walk would be an ideal for you, as you can experience a calm stroll while enjoying some spectacular views of the city.
And, alas, to wrap up this quaint little trip, follow in the footsteps of highly acclaimed novelist and author, Jane Austen. A great fan and former resident of Bath, many of Austen’s books take place in the pleasant city.
