TravelPapa has some groundbreaking news that you just might want to sit down for.
We were taught as children that we are supposed to share (easier said than done) so we decided to take this simple concept to another level. Instead of sharing our toys and crayons, we are going to be sharing our own traveling experiences. This is an idea that we’ve been playing with for a while and are finally able to put it into action.
This isn’t just a blog for professional travelers; it is a melting pot for the people who love to talk about travel, people who are paid to travel (lucky), people who are just excited to discuss the time they left their hometown for the first time and people who are filled with envious rage towards people who have the privilege to travel.
We will sit around the hypothetical camp fire, hold hands and roast marshmallows as we share fond memories of our most adventurous (or most disastrous) travel experiences, comparing notes and advising others for future vacations. When your friends have finally had enough of you bragging about your glamorous trips, that’s when you come here to let a fresh set of people ogle over your trip. If we are making enough money to travel the world than it is naturally assumed that we are classy and intelligent people who aren’t going to insult other peoples travel experiences and opinions of certain locations (right?).
You will have the chance to add your vacation pictures so pack your most expensive clothes and touch up your make up because we will even have concourses (just a little friendly competition of course) to select some of the most inventive and interesting photos. If you’re one to laugh at yourself (unlike myself) then instead of weeding out the bad pictures, post some of the goofy or funny pictures where you didn’t know a picture was being taken or you have a ridiculous smile.
The instructions are just as easy as those on the back of a mac-and-cheese box. All you have to do is think back to some of your most exciting vacations and write a memoir about the experience to give other people a unique insight on a certain country. You may also add such helpful information as how many bags are allowed per person, weather you need a visa to visit the country, what were some convenient forms of transportation that you used, what are some must see places and which to avoid, along with any hotel or restaurant recommendations, ranging from cheap to pricey.
Now, to break the ice and get the cycle going, I decided to visit a different country to have an exciting story to start the blog off with. After going on Google and trying to find out which country has the most attractive men, Italy was the first to pop up on my screen. It was a difficult job, but someone had to do it and I was willing to sacrifice some time out of my busy life to do the deed. You’re welcome
